Privacy policy
Effective June 25, 2026.
This privacy policy describes how GoTrack collects and uses information associated with an identified or identifiable individual. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
If the user does not register or use a user account, GoTrack can be generally understood to not collect, store, or share any personally-identifiable information about the user or their usage of the service. Name, age, sex, location, and any other data that could be used to personally identify a user is not collected or shared at any time.
GoTrack offers users the option to register a user account, which enables some advanced features like trip notifications. If the user chooses to register and use a user account, some personally-identifiable information may be collected, including the user’s name and email address. The user has the option to not send this data at registration time by using an alias for their name and/or providing a relay email address. Non-personally-identifiable information may be collected and stored, including the user’s trip history, if manually tracked by the user. All data associated with the user and their user account can be instantly and permanently deleted at any time by the user.
Payment information is transmitted through Apple, Inc. as an intermediary and this data is not accessible to us at any time.
Some non-personally-identifiable information is stored in the client-side application for a short time, including logs about the user’s interactions with the application. This data stays on the user’s device and is not shared with us or anyone else unless the user chooses to send log data via a help request email. In that case, the log data will be used to help diagnose errors in the application.
